Balwant Singh became the leading scorer of this season’s Indian Super League with five goals as Mumbai City FC thrashed Delhi Dynamos 4-0 at the Mumbai Football Arena on Friday.

Mumbai City FC put up a dominating display in front of their home crowd as they thrashed Delhi Dynamos 4-0 in their Indian Super League (ISL) clash at the Mumbai Football Arena on Friday.

The Mumbai-Delhi clash was not only a goal-fest but tempers flared as both sides found themselves down to 10 men by the end of the first half of the match.

However, Mumbai went on a rampage in the second half and raced to the second spot in the league table while Delhi slumped to their sixth straight loss and remained rooted at the bottom of the table after seven games.

It was a moment of madness that saw both sides reduced to 10 men deep into the added time of the first half. Mumbai’s Sehnaj Singh and Delhi’s Matias Mirabaje were involved in a massive scuffle that led to both seeing the red card from the referee.
