“A Corporation that gets Skoch Best Municipality Award fails to provide toilets to it’s people”

While on one side the Central Government has been batting for eradication of open defecation and construction of toilets, the people of Ward 82 comprising 1500 families are struggling without proper toilet facilities. Girls who’ve come of age and women are facing extreme hardship because, of the 54 toilets that was available for use, only 14 are partially functioning. Construction of these toilets are moving on a snail’s pace. Open defecation is resulting in pollution and spread of diseases.
