Bharath Bandh affects Coimbatore partially

The Bandh that was called for to protest against rising fuel prices has affected life partially in Coimbatore. Shops have downed shutters and buses plying to Kerala are operated only up to the Tamil Nadu border. Police have beefed up security in Gandhipuram, Ukkadam and Singanallur bus stands.
