Leopard kills the bait but escapes the trap. Forest department in a dilemma

With the continuing massacre of goats and guard dogs in the villages bordering the forest in Mettupalayam, the villagers appealed to the forest department to trap the Leopard responsible for it. A cage was set in the farm of one of the villagers with a goat tied inside it as a bait. But, the forest officials were in for a shock this morning . The goat had been killed but the Leopard seemed to have escaped through a gap in the bottom of the cage. Another stronger cage has been set as a trap now.
