Accidents are on the rises because of increase in vehicle population. Most victims are between 15 and 45 years of age. In the last 5 years TN takes third place in India. The reason is violation of road rules. Hence smart cameras have been installed from JM Bakery junction to Lakshmi Mills junction under the Uyir scheme.
