Cleaning of goat skins pollutes River Bhavani

Skin of goats in several hundreds are cleaned in River Bhavani near Badrakaliamman temple reportedly every Wednesday and Sunday. The blood and waste pollutes the river which is one of the main drinking water source for the people of Mettupalayam.
