Collector orders immediate action against improper sanitation

Due to the onset of southwest monsoon, the stagnant rainwater caused disturbance in many places of Coimbatore. A drainage tank inside the office of the District Collector, started stinking. When inspected by the Collector, it was found that the place was contaminated with worms and mosquitoes. As per his orders, immediate action was taken by the health department and the office premises was sanitized.
