Family of four attempts suicide. The mother dies

A couple with their two children living in Kuniyamuthur area consumed poison in a suicide attempt yesterday night. They were immediately admitted to a nearby private hospital by the neighbours. While the mother succumbed, the other three who are critical are now undergoing treatment in Coimbatore GH.
