Five ambulance attendants hospitalised after consuming lunch at training centre

Five attendants of 108 ambulance service were hospitalised after consuming food in which a lizard was found dead. According to sources, the attendants who were attending a training programme at Thomas Club Hall were served lunch. Within a few minutes five of them – Aruna, Sasikala, Nithya Rani, Thirumathal and Kavitha – started vomitting and fainted. They were rushed to the Coimbatore Medical College Hospital, where they are undergoing treatment. One of the attendants is expecting a child.
