Hindu Makkal Katchi lights lamps in temple in spite of ban

Hindu Makkal Katchi leader Arjun Sampath along with his party members lighted ghee lamps at the Ukkadam Lakshmi Narasimha temple to show their protest against the HRand CE ruling banning the lighting of lamps in temples. Arjun Sampath condemned the rule saying that it was against Hindu religious beliefs and practices.
