Income tax officials conducted a search of the offices of the trustees and colleges of Hindustan Group of Institutions in Udayampalayam, Malumichampatti and Nava India in COimbatore. Information from inside sources indicate that seizures of documents and cash would exceed Rs.500 Crores. Searches are still being continued.
