Ladies club members try to attack hostel warden

Punitha, warden of Dharshana Ladies Hostel is one of the accused in the case of soliciting the hostel inmates for improper liaisons with the hostel owner. Having absconded earlier, she surrendered today at the Coimbatore Combined Court. She was sentenced to 15 days judicial custody. Members of the All India Democratic Ladies club surrounded her and tried to attack her as she was taken away by the police. The ladies club members demanded that strict action be taken against Punitha and also an in depth investigation in this issue
