The Indian Medical Association in Coimbatore has been staging a series of hunger strikes to protest the combination medicine system. Opposing the mixed medical system, various parties have been engaged in a series of struggles. As part of this, at the premises of the Indian Medical Association on the Syrian Church Road in Coimbatore, people have been engaged in a series of hunger strikes.
