No action for sexually harassing a mentally challenged girl

It is alleged that Ganesan belonging to Sultanpet, Coimbatore, sexually harassed Thulasimani(25) who is mentally challenged. Her mother Maaraal filed a case against Ganesan at Sultanpet police station. The mother alleged that the police are acting in favour of the accused. So she has approached the All India Democratic Women’s Association and submitted a petition to the district collector today.
