Palakkad flooded by water from Malampuzha dam

The continuous rains of the past one week has resulted in the Malampuzha dam releasing water and flooding of residential areas in Palakkad and the submerging of Nilampathy bridge. Meanwhile Walayar dam has also started releasing water. Water is gushing through the streets of Palakkad like a river.
