Members of the Devendrakula Vellalar community protested on behalf of the All India Mallar Yeluchi Peravai, following social distancing, regarding their petition to the State and Central government requesting grouping their subgroups into one and replacing their community from the Scheduled Caste category to the Most Backward Class.
