Rat fever claims first life in Coimbatore

After the outbreak of Leptospirosis in Kerala, Coimbatore has recorded the first causality with a 29 year old man losing his life to rat fever. Admitted from a private hospital in a critical condition the man succumbed after he suffered multiple organ failure at the Coimbatore Medical College Hospital.
