RG Pudur in Covai shut as 18 people tested positive for COVID-19 in the area.

After a 28-year old man from Chennai died due to COVID-19 at RG Pudur near Chinniyampalayam in Covai, 39 members from the area were screened of which 18 tested positive. The entire area including grocery stores have been shut and about 220 residents have undergone COVID-19 tests and are expecting the results.
