Road accident claims Std II student’s life in Coimbatore

A Class II student Subhash was killed in a road accident on Monday when a government bus hit him while he was returning from school near LIC Colony. Passersby who witnessed the gory accident, rushed the boy to the nearby hospital immediately, but doctors declared him brought-dead. The student, son of Udayaraj and studying in a government school in Selvapuram, sustained severe injuries and died on the spot.The uncontrollable speed of the bus was cited to be reason for the accident. Selvapuram police is investigating.
