SDPI protests against privatisation of water distribution management in Coimbatore

Members of SDPI held a protest in front of the South Taluka office condemning the awarding of the contract for water distribution and management in Coimbatore , costing Rs.3150 crores to a private firm from France, SUEZ. More than 100 people who took part in the protest wee arrested by the police.
