Special team formed to nab those indulging in bike racing inside city

A special team has been formed by the Coimbatore city police to nab those indulging in bike racing. As part of creating traffic awareness police department in association with Ganga Hospital distributed chocolates to the public who followed traffic rules. Those indulging in bike race inside the city will be arrested and vehicle seized, Commissioner K Periaiah said. Seven CCTV cameras have been installed at arterial areas to monitor movements of vehicles coming in and going out of city, he said.
