Former Minister Senthil Balaji who was in Coimbatore to take part in a function of AMMK at the CODISSIA, said that the state government was very particular about implementing the Salem 8 lane project because of the pressure from Central government. He also alleged that the CM wanted to give the contract to his relatives and also was interested in the minerals of the mountains over there.
