The house where Kalaignar lived in Coimbatore

DMK patriarch M Karunanidhi spent some of his early struggling years in Coimbatore. He lived in Singanallur area with his first wife Padmavathy from 1944 to 1948. He wrote the story for “Rajakumari” and many other movies in Central Studio. Coimbatore has played a big role in his life and his fame started spreading from here only.
