In a function organised by Coimbatore City police and South Rotary Club to announce welfare schemes for transgenders, K. Periaiah, Commissioner of Police, Coimbatore City announced that graduate transgenders in the city will be identified and appointed soon as traffic wardens to manage traffic congestion in the city.
