Two tonnes of gutka seized in Coimbatore

After the discovery of a gutka manufacturing unit in Sulur area , FSSAI has been conducting periodic raids in various parts of Coimbatore. Meanwhile , based on a tip off about gutka being stocked at a residence in Ponnaiyarajapuram, a team of FSSAI officials under Vijaya Lalithambikai conducted raids and seized sacks of gutka and other banned tobacco products worth Rs.17 lakhs.
