Villagers petition against closure of bank in Thennanallur in Coimbatore

The SBI branch in the area has been functioning for the last 5 years. On receiving information that the bank could be closed down, the villagers have petitioned against the move stating that the bank is being used by the people of ten villages and there is no bank available for them in a ten kiometer radius.
