Arun Jude Amalraj who was married to Aarthi for eleven years had filed for divorce at the family court. The court had counselled them to stay together. Meanwhile Arun and his parents allegedly continued to harass Arthi for dowry. Arun had asked Arthi to come along with him in his SUV stating that they could leave together to Chennai. It was then that he pushed her out of the SUV and tried to kill her. This footage has been caught on camera.
