Worm removed from horse’s eye in Namakkal

A team of veterinary surgeons attached to the Government Veterinary College and Research Insititute in Namakkal removed a worm, “Setaria Digitata” , from the right eye of a six-year-old horse on Friday.
The veterinary surgeons termed the surgery as rare.
