Himachal: 35 students injured in bus accident, were on way to attend PM Modi’s rally

Thirty five students were injured in a bus accident near Lunj in Kangra on Thursday. The injured students have been admitted to a hospital. The incident took place at Upper Lunj’s Samleta.

The group, which belonged to a computer centre, was travelling to PM Narendra Modi’s rally to be held in Dharamsala today.

Of the injured, five students are seriously injured and have been referred to the medical college in Tanda. Some of the injured are being treated at the Community Health Centre in Lunj.

The students from a skill development course at a computer centre in Himachal’s Nagrota Surian were travelling to attend PM Narendra Modi’s rally in Dharamshala when the bus overturned.

Photos of the accident show a school bus lying on its side. The injured were taken to local hospitals with the help of locals.
