Indian High Commissioner to Pakistan Ajay Bisaria met Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh this morning to discuss the India-Pakistan ties. This comes in the aftermath of the Pulwama terror attack that killed 40 CRPF jawans on February 14.

After the meeting, Bisaria said India’s ambassadors are in touch with other countries. “I have nothing to add,” he said.

Government soures said the Home Ministry is preparing a new dossier which will be shared with all Indian embassies to “expose Pakistan’s lies”.

India and Pakistan recalled their high commissioners for consultations as relations between the two countries soured following the Pulwama terror attack.

Meanwhile, Rajnath Singh also held a meeting with India’s ambassador to the United States of America, Harsh Vardhan Shringla this morning.

These meetings come days after Prime Minister Narendra Modi said India will make all diplomatic efforts to ensure that Pakistan is isolated internationally for supporting and sheltering terror organisations.

US President Donald Trump has also issued a strong statement on the Pulwama attack and asked Pakistan to act against Jaish-e-Mohammad, a terror outfit that is based in Paksitan.

On Wednesday morning, the Parliament of New Zealand passed a resolution condemning the Pulwama terror attack. France has said it stands with India to ensure that Jaish chief is brought under the UN’s terror list.

More than 40 countries have issued statements condemning the attack on the CRPF in Pulwama.
